I have emailed advice with links to clips from “Thelma and Louise” giving you links to you tube .
I'm pleased you have referenced Goodwin with the repetitive voyeuristic shots of the artist. These images are derogatory and suggest the artists are not confident enough to market themselves as seriously talented.
1) Add screen shots from Thelma and Louise and compare with screen shots from this music video, note Thelma and Louise as they break the barriers of how they are defined by their gender. 2) Integrate more audience theory, particularly uses and gratification theories 3) Add another slide referencing Laura Mulvey’s gaze theory about the negative and inaccurate sexualised representation of women in this music video and will thus reinforce misogynist attitudes that women are playthings/toys, eye candy and thus talentless. Advice on power point I've sent you on representation.
